How You Can Help - Ways to Give, Benefit Print Collection


The Inner-City Arts Benefit Print Collection consists of complete editions of lithographs donated by established artists to support the programs at Inner-City Arts.

Jonathan Borofsky created this special edition of 100 lithographs after teaching a series of workshops at Inner-City Arts. The work depicts Inner-City Arts Co-Founder Bob Bates.

Mr. Borofsky has created many public sculptures for cities around the world, including Ballerina Clown in Venice, California; the Molecule Man, which stands in Berlin's Spree River; and the Hammering Man in Frankfurt, Germany.

Although Gil Garcetti's career includes 32 years in the Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office and eight years as the elected District Attorney, for much of his life he has also been an urban photographer. His work has been shown in solo exhibitions at the National Building Museum, Washington D.C.; United Nations, New York City; Millennium Art Museum, Beijing China; UCLA Fowler Museum; Virginia Center for Architecture; Pasadena Museum of California Art; and several galleries including Peter Fetterman, G. Ray Hawkins, Lawrence and Duncanmiller. Mr. Garcetti has also published four books: Iron: Erecting the Walt Disney Concert Hall, Frozen Music, Dance in Cuba, and Water is Key, and in 2003 was named one of the country's four master photographers by American Photo.
