Rebecca Swisher
Director of Development

rebecca_square Rebecca joined Inner-City Arts in 2015 and oversees both event fundraising and annual fund giving, and manages the day-to-day operations of the Development Office. She brings with her a wealth of experience in the fields of development, marketing, communications and event planning. Most recently, she served as Development Director at the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation where she oversaw multiple fundraising events and cultivated major gift prospects. Prior to that, she was Events and Marketing Manager at Youth Policy Institute where she managed special events, spearheaded marketing outreach, and stewarded relationships with existing and prospective funders. She began her career in the nonprofit sector as the PR & Marketing Coordinator for Homeaid LA/Ventura where she managed several large-scale fundraising events and raised the organization's overall profile via integrated marketing strategies. Rebecca holds a BA in Liberal Studies with emphasis in Communications from California State University, Bakersfield. She also earned an AA in fine art from College of the Canyons. She thoroughly enjoys merging her arts background with her fundraising and marketing skills in service of Inner-City Arts' mission.
